Kelly qualified with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy from Leeds University in 2012.
Over the past 12 years, Kelly has worked in a variety of clinical settings, specialising in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy.
Her journey began working for the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust in an MSK outpatient setting in Worcester. Alongside this, Kelly worked at Black Pear Physio, a local private clinic until she began her own business venture of KJ Physio in 2018.
Kelly soon progressed from the NHS into the world of Occupational Health, working mainly in the automotive industry, with reputable companies such as Jaguar Landrover, Lear & Amazon.
Kelly also helped to set up and delivered a successful Physiotherapy service for the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals in 2016, to help reduce workforce sickness.
In 2018, Kelly joined Vita Health Group,
a UK market leader in workplace Musculoskeletal, Mental Health and Preventative Health solutions, now part of Spire Healthcare.
Kelly began her journey as a Corporate Team Leader before being promoted to Operations Manager in 2019, leading what was, at the time, the UK's largest Remote Physiotherapy Triage Service. In 2020, she progressed into the role of Mobilisation & Operational Improvement Lead across the Corporate portfolio, overseeing operational improvement within both Physiotherapy and Mental Health services.
In 2021, Kelly was promoted to Service Lead for the Corporate Physiotherapy Service, leading the Triage, Onsite and Functional Restoration Programme services for some of the UK's largest organisations. Following maternity leave, she returned as Head of MSK Operations, overseeing the operational performance of the MSK service lines, Ergonomics and Preventative Health services, as well as the private B2C London clinics.
Most recently, Kelly was appointed Head of Operations for Spire Occupational Health, where she provides strategic and operational leadership across the Occupational Health division. She is responsible for driving operational excellence, service performance, quality improvement and sustainable growth, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients and patients across the UK.
Safe to say, Kelly likes to keep busy!
KJ Physio was an exciting step for Kelly, as she always wanted to spread her wings and build her own business. Kelly is very experienced in assessing and treating a wide range of MSK conditions and injuries, with a variety of treatments such as manual therapy, soft tissue and exercise techniques and is also extremely experienced in Acupuncture.
Kelly has a specialty in treating Dancers, having been a dancer herself & recovered from multiple injuries. Kelly loves working with dance schools & companies to help them return to the stage quickly.
On a personal note, Kelly is a mum of two, recently welcoming her second child into the world in May 2025. Kelly had a short period off, to adjust to life with two children, but is now back and very much enjoying the adult conversation!
